How can I change the background color and font-size of the “Title” and “News Detail” like the “HeadLines” in the CSS. I am using version 1.0.
Unfortunately, we cannot change background color in this version.
You can change font-size by updating the following classes in “newsStyleSheet.css” file
“Heading” Size
.headline{
font-size: 12px;
}
“Date” Size
.newsDate{
font-size: 12px;
}
“News Detail” size
a:link, a:active, a:visited {
font-size: 12px;
}
Hello,
I downloaded version 1 to use on my site. However is seems like the xml is cached so my visitors don’t get updated info. Is there any option to force reloading the xml on every (page)visit?
Can you try V2?
Is there a way to open the links in a new window. i.e. Target=”_blank”.
Otherwise I love the component.

I like it. Very cool component. I just wish I also had the option to change the background and cell colors (the black and gray). Otherwise. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Which site do you not have control over? yes you can download the software.
The web site was created by a company. I do have some control over some areas but I am confused about how to do what the video says to do about putting some of the files into the web file.
If you don’t have access to upload files to the site you wont be able to use this.
